In Psalm 119:103 the words of God are said to be sweeter than honey. Honey was and is used today as a natural sweetener. God’s teachings bring a sweetness to the life we live. Our tongues crave a sweet dessert or treat as our lives should crave the sweetness of God and His word.

This scripture is such an encouragement to me. There are days that I’m so incredibly confident for the days ahead that I laugh out loud at thought of what the future holds… but there are days when, instead of adopting it as my own, I find myself thinking “I wish I felt this way…”
A soft answer can turn away anger, but harsh words can stir it up. Words and tones create the atmosphere in your home. Start with yourself and watch the results. You won’t be disappointed as you invest intentionally in your words and your tones.
Instead of running FROM God, He wants us to run TO Him. He wants to cover our shame with His love, mend our heart, clean us up and restore a right relationship with Him again. God wants intimacy with us.
After much anguish and pleading, God answers Hannah’s prayer for a long awaited child. Not only did she have 1 child, she was blessed with 5 more children after Samuel! God is GOOD!

I discovered a new art form: Bible Art Journaling. I saw a video demonstration on Christa Sterken’s blog and I was enthralled. Then I researched further and found Rebecca Jones’s Bible Art Journaling Challenge which I was glued to the screen for at least an hour watching her tutorials. I just had to try it out.
